  • Deprecated function: implode(): Passing glue string after array is deprecated. Swap the parameters in drupal_get_feeds() (line 394 of /home2/iansimmo/public_html/includes/common.inc).
  • Deprecated function: The each() function is deprecated. This message will be suppressed on further calls in menu_set_active_trail() (line 2385 of /home2/iansimmo/public_html/includes/menu.inc).

My research into early glass cutting machinery was published in the Journal of Glass Studies (see publications).

I continue to explore the reinterpretation of all aspects of 19th Century American glass.

In March 2014 I started to explore glass in archaeological collections in the United States. My first report on the topic was delivered at a symposium at the Historic Charleston Foundation in November 2014.
